Camp Missionaries 2007
Our Camp Missionaries in 2007 were Andy and Lori Hill.  Along with their daughters, Laurel and Mollie, they serve God through the International Mission Board of the SBC as missionaries to the cowboys of Northern Sonora in Mexico.

Our campers heard the story of how God called a man who had grown up in the cowboy life on ranches and farms in west Texas to go to Mexico and help people come to know Jesus.

Once the Hills were on the field in Mexico, they discovered that the cowboy, or vaquero, culture was almost completely unreached - in fact, very little was being done to even try to take the gospel to the vaqueros and their families all across the vast ranches of Northern Sonora.  So the Hills began to pray about it, and before long, God opened the door for them to begin to share Jesus with the vaqueros.

The mission offering in 2007 was used to help buy a new mobile ministry unit to help the Hills travel from ranch to ranch with their horse.  You can click on the pictures to the right to see full sized images of the Hills and their new mobile ministry unit.
